April Itoju Social: Hands Busy, Minds Open with Omaina
Are you an international student looking to connect with other international students and former international students?
As spring arrives and the semester reaches one of its busiest points, we’re inviting you to slow down with us.
Hands Busy, Minds Open brings people together around dessert, creativity, and meaningful dialogue. Using dessert as a doorway to reflect and connect through honest conversation, this gathering draws from the cultural tradition of food as a point of connection and invites attendees to create space to slow down, share, and be fully present with one another.
Together, we’ll decorate desserts while engaging in honest, grounding conversation about rest, pressure, care, and what it means to move through demanding seasons with intention.
The session, designed as a breather during exam season, will be facilitated by Itoju mentor, Omaina, who will guide both the dessert decorating and the conversation.
Come take a break, breathe, connect and create with us and alongside community.
