Midweek Reset Series: Sunset Hike + Salmon Run
All good things (and longer summer days) must come to an end. This Wednesday marks the last of our weekly sunset hikes. The sun’s dipping earlier and earlier, and it feels like the right moment to close the loop.
Whether you’ve joined before or this is your first one, you’re welcome to come soak up one last summer sunset with us.
It will be a peaceful 5-kilometre midweek evening hike along the Humber River and Old Mill Dam, timed perfectly to catch golden hour as we walk and catch the salmon run that’s recently been spotted in the area. I’ll be bringing some chai for the group but feel free to bring your own or to share. 😊
This is the ideal midweek pause. It's after work, perfect for Toronto folks, accessible by the TTC, and surrounded by nature. Expect beautiful riverside and sunset views.
Bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
Where we'll meet: We'll be meeting at the parking lot at Etienne Brulé Park https://maps.app.goo.gl/bRdTv2b7gEwc8rjX8
Trail map: We will be following part of this trail route, out-and-back https://www.alltrails.com/trail/canada/ontario/humber-river-recreation-trail

Please arrive on time.
We’ve timed this sunset hike so that we’re back at the starting point just before Maghrib, and any delays will mean finishing after dark. Due to this reason, and out of respect for everyone’s time, please inform me if you're running behind but we won’t be able to wait too long for late arrivals.
