After the Smartphone: Advertising in the Age of iPhone Duo and AI Agents
New devices like iPhone Duo, AI assistants, and agents are changing how people find information and how brands reach them. Mobile usage keeps growing. What is shifting is the form factor and the assumptions mobile advertising was built on: app installs, banners and interstitials, device IDs. Location, context, first-party data, adapted creative, and outcome measurement are taking their place.
In this online session, we look at three questions:
What do the new devices have in common, and what does "mobile" mean once it stops meaning "phone"?
How does the interface change when agents act on behalf of users? Is the next audience the user or the agent?
Who owns the ad relationship when there is no screen, and how do measurement and budgets adapt?
