We started The Drone Community less than a year ago. It was a WhatsApp group and a room full of 15 people in Pune who wanted to talk about drones.
Today we're 1100+ members across Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. We've run workshops where people built their first quadcopter from scratch. We've had engineers from MathWorks break down control systems on a whiteboard. Founders building delivery platforms have sat next to college students figuring out their first flight controller. That's TDC.
Meetup #5 is simple. Show up. Bring whatever you're working on. A half-soldered build, a project idea on the back of a napkin, a drone you crashed last week and can't figure out why. Or bring nothing and just listen. Either way, you'll be in a room with people who actually care about this stuff and aren't just watching YouTube videos about it.
Some of you have been coming since meetup #1. Some of you have been lurking in the group for months and never showed up. This is your sign.
We don't do presentations. We don't do stiff intros and LinkedIn exchanges. We just talk. About what we're building, what's breaking, what's next. It's the most useful 3 hours you'll spend this month if you're into drones, robotics, or anything that flies, rolls, or walks.
Beginners, hobbyists, students, engineers, founders. Doesn't matter. If you're curious, you're in.
