About Event

Join CASA at the Moneta/Smith Mountain Lake Library on February 7, 2026, for a CASA Moneta information session. Bedford County is CASA’s second-highest area of advocacy for children who have been abused or neglected, and we need more volunteers to speak up for these kids. Come hear what a Court Appointed Special Advocate does, what training and support you’ll receive, and how a volunteer can make a real difference in a child’s life.

This session will give you a clear picture of the responsibilities, time commitment, and next steps if you want to get involved. Whether you’re curious or ready to take the next step, you’ll leave with practical information about how to give a child a voice and a better chance for a safe future.
