Connect & Create: Intern Picnic
Your internship is over. Summer is almost over. Before everyone disappears back to school, let’s get everyone together one more time.
Join CUTC for Connect & Create: Intern Picnic, an end-of-summer social bringing together interns, students, builders, and young professionals from across Toronto for an afternoon at Coronation Park.
Whether you spent the summer at a startup, big tech, a bank, a lab, building your own thing, or didn’t intern at all, everyone is welcome. Come meet people from across the city, catch up with friends, and celebrate the end of summer before another semester begins.
This isn’t a career fair or another formal networking event. Come as you are, bring your friends, and actually get to know people.
What we're doing
Throughout the afternoon, we'll have:
Complimentary snacks + refreshments
A giant game of hide & seek
Board games
Soccer, frisbee + Spikeball
Plenty of time to meet people and hang out
Products + goodies from our partners
Come for an hour or stay for the afternoon — activities are optional and the day is intentionally casual.
Who should come?
Interns wrapping up their summer terms, university students heading back to campus, new grads, builders, founders, creatives, and anyone looking to meet more people in Toronto.
You don't need to know anyone beforehand. Bring a friend or show up solo! We'll have activities throughout the day to make meeting people easy.
We're also excited to have products provided by Greenhouse Juice and Three Farmers for attendees!
Summer went by way too quickly. Come spend one of the last weekends of it with us.
