​Clay Cup is back. And this time, the road to $50,000 starts right here at Clay [club] North.

​On March 12th, we're doing things a bit differently. Hosted by Jess and Jake, the evening kicks off with the Clay Cup live build challenge. Jake's developing a prompt. Everyone gets the same one. You get 10 minutes to prep, then 20 minutes to build whatever you can in Clay.

​If you want to throw your hat in the ring for a Clay Cup 2026 nomination? You get up, present what you built, and take questions from the room. The most creative build gets nominated to represent Clay [club] North - with Jake coaching them every step of the way. Semi-finalist last year. UK #1. Top 4 in the world.

​The journey from here? Virtual round in April. Quarterfinals in London this summer. Semi-finals and finals in San Francisco in September - held at Sculpt. $50,000 to the winner.

​And if our nominee makes it to SF? Engineered GTM is sponsoring the trip - dinner, a tour of the Bay Area, the full experience.

​But here's the thing - you don't have to be gunning for Clay Cup to come along.

​After the competition, we're firing up the Clay Roast: Teardown Tables. Volunteers share their screen and show a workflow they're working on. The room spots improvements, suggests enrichments, challenges your logic - and together, you walk away with a better build. It's collaborative, it's practical, and it's one of the best ways to level up fast.

​If you just want to have a go at building a workflow under a bit of pressure, learn from watching other people's approaches, get your own workflow roasted by the community, or just hang out - that's more than enough reason to be there.

​There'll be pizza. There'll be beer. And there'll be that energy that makes Clay [club] North such a fun community to be part of.
