About Event

Join Boston-based Thermal Energy Innovation Hub, HEET, for an inside look at how Massachusetts is leading a national movement to tap the thermal energy all around us for a more affordable future that provides heating and cooling to all.

This session will explore our multidisciplinary approach driving this shift, including some key HEET geothermal energy network initiatives:

  • Workforce Development: Tackling the "driller bottleneck" by incubating a Geothermal Center of Excellence and launching an open-source curriculum for the next generation of installers.

  • Project Pipeline: Accelerating deployment through funded feasibility studies, curated advisory and technical support, and third-party design reviews.

  • Science & Research: "Learning from the ground up" with real-world data and iterative research projects – wrapped around the Massachusetts utility projects.

  • Policy & Leadership: Redefining public thermal energy as a shared resource, a Thermal Commons, that can unlock affordable energy that is wasted all around us.

Be part of the thermal revolution. Whether you are a policymaker, an investor seeking clean energy projects, or a community advocate, learn how HEET is leading transformative change through growing and interconnecting stakeholder networks with research and development to drive adoption of thermal energy innovation, changing how we heat and cool our world.
