We’ll concentrate on structuring a clear, compelling narrative, avoiding common pitch mistakes, and communicating value in a way that connects to decision-making.

A practical session covering the key financial decisions founders face early on, from runway and budgeting to hiring plans, forecasting, fundraising strategy, and more.
Rina and Assaf lead the FP&A analyst department at Nextage, working closely with startups on financial planning, fundraising strategy, and scalable growth models.
They specialize in building comprehensive budgets and complex financial models for a wide variety of companies, supporting them from early Seed stages through advanced funding rounds and M&A transactions.
Partnering with top-tier companies, they provide critical analytical insights, tailored 'Go to Market' strategies, and strategic financial planning to drive continuous growth and business success.
Session 3: Key Legal & Fundraising Decision
June 16, 10:00-12:00
with Yotam Azari, Gornitzky & Co.
A fast-paced, interactive session covering the key legal and commercial considerations early-stage founders face when building their venture. We will start with incorporation choices (Israel vs. Delaware) and core founders’ arrangements (including repurchase mechanics), move through early fundraising structures (SAFEs vs. priced rounds, including pre-money vs. post-money valuation caps), and then dive into the main dynamics, common investor asks and negotiation frictions in Seed term sheets.
Yotam is a partner in the Technology and Venture Capital Practice at Gornitzky & Co. and a corporate transactional lawyer, advising investors, VCs and startups from formation through financing rounds and ongoing commercial and corporate matters.
He represents leading Israeli startups and emerging companies across sectors including defense tech, cybersecurity, deep tech, fintech, gaming and biotech, and works closely with founders, CEOs and boards of directors on transactions, investments and other strategic matters.
