The Developing Room: Monthly Review & Declutter Party - From Lens to Self Festival 2026

​How many photographs have gathered on your phone over the past month? Screenshots, duplicates, forgotten moments and images you meant to delete: The Developing Room is a monthly gathering to clear your camera roll and take a closer look at what you have chosen to keep.

​Individually, but Together, we will review the images and decide what to delete, keep or archive. Then we will use the selection as a starting point for a few questions: what repeatedly caught your attention? Which moments did you photograph? What stayed outside the frame? Your camera roll becomes a tangible trace of where your attention went during the month.

​Simply imagine a Declutter party for your camera roll and your mind.

​Bring your phone or camera and photographs from the past few weeks. An hour to make space, rediscover meaningful images and notice more clearly what has been occupying your attention.

​No photography experience required. As is usual for From Lens to Self experiences, please ensure you are on time and connected via a computer or laptop.
