Black In Climate at Climate Week NYC
Start Climate Week NYC by meeting people you’ll be glad to see again throughout it!
Our third annual Black in Climate mixer is for Black folks working across climate, environment and sustainability — from energy and infrastructure to culture and organizing. We invite you to come make new friends, reconnect with familiar faces, and have conversations that rarely fit into the formal agenda of this week.
We’ll kick the evening off at a beautiful brewery in Brooklyn with our special guest Jasmine Graham, Executive Director of Mid-Hudson Energy Transition, then open the room up for you to meet people, eat, connect, and vibe.
We’re also raffling off a wonderful collection of books about blackness, climate, and its many intersections. See you soon!
We will reach capacity and space is limited. Please get a ticket only if you can attend.
Black in Climate is an intentional and independent group of Black people working across climate and sustainability committed to creating opportunities to connect. We are not privately funded, do not profit, and this event is made possible through your support. Thank you!
