Dr. Marina Flat

Marina works with organizations to turn AI experimentation into structured, governed and measurable enterprise adoption. Her work focuses on AI governance frameworks, organizational readiness, risk and control design, data governance, LLM evaluation, human oversight and responsible AI implementation.
With a PhD in Computational Linguistics, Marina brings both technical depth and an implementation perspective. Her recent writing has examined unmanaged AI adoption, shadow AI and why restricting AI without effective governance can create new risks. She has also presented on AI Governance in Distributed Ecosystems: Accountability by Design through the IEEE Canada Blockchain Forum.
