​Welcome to yet another ADPList Amsterdam Chapter speaker event brought to you in collaboration with one of the hottest Dutch startups out there, Polarsteps.

That's exactly what we'll be learning at this upcoming event which is aptly titled: Less Hype, More HUman: Building Purposefully With AI.

We will have two amazing speakers share their knowledge and experiences around understanding, experimenting with, and using AI with purpose to help augment their productivity and delight customers.

​​You'll get a behind the curtains look at how they went about the process, how they brought design and AI together, what tools they used, lessons they learned along the way and so much more.

​​You'll also have plenty of time to interact, ask questions, and engage with the speakers in a very informal setting.

This event will take place at the bustling city office of Polarsteps located on Vijzelgracht, smack in the center of Amsterdam.

​​Yannis Abelas - Beyond Prompts: Designing Human-Centered AI for Travel (Polarsteps): Yannis is a senior product designer with over a decade of experience shaping digital experiences from concept to launch. For the past five years, he has led the design of trip planning features at Polarsteps, helping millions of users turn ideas into real-world adventures. His background in graphic design, branding, UX, and UI provides a holistic view of product aesthetics, user experience, and functionality.

​​Elliot Nolten - Building with Purpose in the Age of AI (IKEA): Elliot is a Product Designer at IKEA  - Ingka Digital who enjoys finding small, meaningful ways to make creative work smoother. What began as an interest in improving everyday workflows slowly grew into building internal tools, from Figma and Miro integrations to simple 3D exploration apps. He’s still learning as he goes, now using AI thoughtfully to speed up the process while keeping people and creativity at the centre.
