Workshop: Business Continuity Planning

​The Red River Office of Economic Development & Tourism is launching an effort to ensure that all businesses in Red River are prepared for the next disaster. We are working to build a business resilience toolkit that all businesses in the town can use to create their own plans, learn about available resources in the event of a disaster, and connect with one another when a disaster strikes. Every business in Red River is an important contributor to the cultural landscape and vibrancy of the community. We don't want to see any business close because of a disaster.

​During this workshop you will learn to:

• ​create a tailored Business Continuity Plan specific to the Red River environment.

• ​Identify your Critical Business Functions so you know what to prioritize when disruption strikes.

• ​Minimize downtime and financial loss with proven recovery strategies.

• ​Learn about available resources for disaster preparedness and recovery in New Mexico.

• ​Create a network of resilience with other businesses in Red River.
