Vibe coding an App: Building personal scalable systems
Session description: I built a fully functional habit-tracking app without a technical background. Not by learning to code the traditional way, but by “vibe coding” — using structured thinking, clear goals, and iterative experimentation to create tools that serve real outcomes.
This session begins with my consulting years, where rigid structure was the only way to survive constant context-switching. I’ll share how frameworks from Atomic Habits, Why We Sleep, and time-blocking systems helped me design a simple tracking method that brought clarity and control. Then I’ll show how transitioning into tech gave me the space to expand those systems — and how I translated my analog habit framework into a vibe coded digital app that visualizes trends, patterns, and behavioral drift.
Participants will learn how to design a personal operating system before building tools, how to prototype functional apps without prior experience, and how to use data to reinforce discipline rather than motivation. You’ll leave with a repeatable framework for turning goals into systems — and systems into measurable progress.
Target audience:
Non-tech audience who wants to learn how to vibecode and also learn about building personal scalable systems to track habits

Gunjan is a Director in Microsoft’s Revenue Strategy organization, where she partners with senior leaders to drive growth, operational excellence, and AI-enabled transformation across complex, global businesses. Prior to Microsoft, she spent over a decade in management consulting at BCG and ZS.
Constant travel and relentless pressure during her consulting years taught her a hard truth: performance without structure collapses. She built disciplined systems to protect her energy, sleep, focus, and long-term holistic growth, drawing on frameworks from books like Atomic Habits, Why We Sleep, and Deep Work. Since joining Microsoft a few months ago, she has caught the AI bug—channeling that structured mindset into experimentation and vibe coding her own habit-tracking app, without prior coding experience, to turn discipline into data and personal systems into scalable insight.
