Introduction To Printmaking On Fabric

​This workshop will be an introduction to basic printmaking using lino for printing onto fabric. This will be a test class that will be a part of a larger textiles course in the autumn, so limited space are available and opportunity for lots of experiments to try!

​We will go through how to create a relief pattern onto lino using the appropriate hand tools. Then we will print tests onto calico fabric, you are welcome to being your own clothing to print on! I recommend bringing light cotton colours in rigid fabrics rather than darker colours (I do not recommend denim).

​I recommend wearing clothes you dont mind getting messy in!

​Materials and refreshments will be provided. If you would like to bring your own you are welcome to! Please let us know of any dietary requirements on booking.
