On Monday, 14 September, 5:30–7:30pm PDT (8:30–10:30pm ET), The Tokyo Silicon Valley MedTech Launchpad (TSVML) is hosting a virtual Demo Day where 14 Japanese MedTech companies pitch live to US investors, health systems, strategics and distribution partners. For most of them, this is the first time they have told their story to an American audience.

This is a genuine first look. These are not companies you will find on your deal-flow dashboard. Several are pre-formation spinouts from Japan’s leading medical schools. Several have regulatory approval and revenue in Japan and have never opened a US conversation. All of them are building things that change how care gets delivered, not incrementally, but structurally.
