Rose Hill Wassail 2026!

​RSVP for Rose Hill's annual Wassail celebration!

​It's our big chance to let loose, get wild, and cheer on some trees in the dark doldrums of winter. Borrowing from the English tradition, Rose Hill's Wassail is a community ceremony to thank the land for all it gives us and bless the trees for a bountiful spring harvest.

​Crafts will start at 12 pm—come make a crown from treasures foraged from the winter landscape or design a bell-covered noise-maker or, for the brave of heart, build your own torch to carry in the procession.

​The procession will start at 4:15 pm. We'll walk to the top of the hill for the Wassail ceremony. Bring pots and pans to bang, bread to hang on the trees, and rested voice boxes for hollering.

​Food will be available, served by Misto. Mighty Donuts will also be on site with donuts, hot chocolate, and coffee.

​This year we're requesting a $15 per-car donation to help us cover the costs of the event (including a tent for crafts this year!). Please give what you can—and come no matter what.

​Carpooling encouraged as parking will be tight!
