Tatreez Circle Gathering

​Artist Sabri Sundos hosts a relaxed, communal Tatreez Circle to deepen one’s practice of Palestinian cross-stitch embroidery at Healing Bean Cafe in Bay Ridge. In this open-studio format, participants are invited to work at their own pace, learn from one another, and connect over shared creative practice. Sundos will be on hand to help refine technique, troubleshoot tricky patterns, and share knowledge. Rooted in generations of Palestinian storytelling and resistance, tatreez is more than a craft: it's a living archive of identity, place, and perseverance. Materials provided include Aida cloth, tapestry needles, thread and a selection of traditional motifs with translations.
