​​Welcome to the first social of the year for AI Safety Barcelona!

​​Following our recent strategy revamp, we are bringing the community together to get to know each other's backgrounds and career plans, explore interests in the field, and hear what kind of events would be most valuable to you as we shape our plans for the year.

​Whether you are deep into technical alignment research or governance, working in the AI industry, or just starting your journey into the ecosystem, this is the space to find your peers in Barcelona.

​​We will explore:

• ​​Community Mapping: Who is working on what, and what are our career plans and motivations?

• ​​Support & Growth: How can AI Safety Barcelona and its network best support you?

• ​​Coordination: Sharing suggestions for upcoming events, hackathons, and meet-ups.

​​​Logistics & Food

​​We will be sitting around a big table at Faire. You can choose to have lunch, a light snack, or just a coffee/drink. There is no pressure to order a meal.

• ​​Vegetarian/vegan-friendly: All dishes are vegetarian, with plenty of plant-based options available.

• ​​Flexibility: This is an informal gathering; feel free to drop in or out as your schedule allows.
