Garba Dance Workshop
Description:
Get ready to twirl, clap, and groove to the vibrant beats of Garba with the Trikone and Our Fabulous instructors Jay & Prachi! Whether you are stepping onto the Garba floor for the first time or looking to refine your moves, this workshop is for everyone.
Our Beginner Session (1–2 PM) will cover basic steps, rhythm, and posture—perfect for newcomers and those who want to start slow.
Our Intermediate Session (2–4 PM) will take it up a notch with faster sequences, variations, and formations to help you dance with confidence at any Garba night.
This is a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for the South Asian LGBTQ+ community and allies to come together, learn, and celebrate culture. Wear comfortable clothing (skirts, flowy lehenghas most welcome) and shoes you can dance in, and bring your energy and smiles!
