LaunchPad With Saab - Sensor Fusion
Too much data. Too little time. How does a fighter pilot make sense of it all?
In modern defence, information can make all the difference. But what happens when there's simply too much of it?
A modern fighter aircraft is packed with sensors and communication systems, constantly collecting data about its surroundings, potential threats and targets. For a pilot making split-second decisions, processing all that information isn't just challenging – it's practically impossible.
Enter sensor fusion.
The technology that turns overwhelming amounts of data into a clearer picture of what's happening, helping pilots make better decisions when every second counts.
But how does it actually work? What role do software, algorithms and engineering play? And why is this technology more relevant than ever in today's rapidly evolving defence and security landscape?
Join us as we explore the fascinating intersection of software, cutting-edge technology and modern defence.
Whether you're a developer, engineer, defence enthusiast or simply curious about the technology behind modern fighter aircraft, there's something here for you!
Come for the tech, stay for the pizza and great conversations with Linköping's tech community! 🍕🤝
