TechGames in Azeroth 👾
The first World of Warcraft night in the startup world.
What this is. TechGames has run 200+ poker, chess and Catan nights in London, SF, NYC, Berlin, Munich and Dubai. Every one of them needed a flight. This one doesn't. Meet startup founders, operators and investors from all around the world, on one realm, in one guild. No visa required.
Two launches, one night. WoW: Forever, Blizzard's Classic Plus release, goes live on 4 November. The same night the TechGames Discord server opens its doors and the first startup guild in Azeroth rolls its first characters. Come celebrate both with us.
The best founders are gamers. Karri Saarinen, CEO of Linear, was installing WoW: Forever the night before beta. Sam Lambert, CEO of PlanetScale, gave himself a month to teach a bot to run his company so he can play. Elon put it his way.
How the week runs 🧙
