Pawòl Lakou: Lanmou, Lajwa, Lakou
Join us for Pawòl Lakou: Lanmou, Lajwa, Lakou, an immersive spring gathering focused on joy, love, and the power of community.
In Haitian culture, the lakou is much more than a communal space. It is a way of being together, a place of care, connection, learning, and shared wisdom. For Haitians in the Dyaspora, the lakou can also be a source of grounding, encouragement, and return.
This year, Pawòl Lakou invites us to reflect on a simple but meaningful question: How are we centering joy? As spring arrives, we come together to explore how community can be a source of love, inspiration, encouragement, creativity, and delight.
Join us for an immersive evening with Riva Précil and Linda Duverné, featuring presentations, hands-on activities, music, food, and opportunities to connect in a warm and welcoming space. Throughout the evening, guests will be able to engage with different stations and experiences, including flower essences, collaging, and a special dance workshop.
This gathering is an invitation to soften, to reconnect, and to remember that joy is not separate from healing — it can be part of the way we return to ourselves and to one another.
Please note: To help us prepare for the experience, we kindly ask that all attendees register using their first and last name.
Come be in community. Come be inspired. Come make space for joy.
