About Event

Join Professors Bill Squires and Shaun Hoyte for a dynamic session of Sustainability in Sports: Theory and Practice featuring an engaging conversation on Environmental Communication.

This event will explore practical strategies for creating impactful narratives, generating engagement, and framing environmental issues in ways that drive climate action.

We’re honored to welcome our distinguished guest speaker: Lew Blaustein, Founder of GreenSportsBlog and EcoAthletes.

After a successful career in sports marketing communications and advertising sales, Lew became passionate about the environment and climate change. Since then, Blaustein has helped build a myriad of green-focused businesses and non-profits by creating, telling and selling their green stories.

GreenSportsBlog is the source for news and commentary about the ever more crowded intersection of sustainability and sports.

EcoAthletes is a nonprofit with the mission to inspire and coach athletes to lead climate action.

Join us for a thought-provoking session and discover how effective communication can shape a more sustainable future in sports.
