Trauma-Informed Approaches to Impact Investing
Join us for an ARC Drop-In Learning Session exploring how trauma-informed principles can transform the practice of impact investing. Facilitated by Jacqueline Jennings, ARC alum and founder of The Fireweed Institute, this interactive session will invite fund managers and investors to reflect on how histories of harm and resilience show up in our work — and how we can build more healing-centered, trust-based approaches to capital.
Together, we’ll explore:
What “trauma-informed” means in the context of finance and entrepreneurship
How fund design, diligence, and relationships can perpetuate or disrupt harm
Practices for cultivating safety, transparency, and reciprocity with communities we invest in
This 90-minute session is open to all ARC Fellows and Alumni. Come ready to reflect, connect, and imagine new possibilities for doing this work with care and integrity.
