Robotics Scale-up Roundtable: Regulatory Barriers and Solutions

​The Rt Hon. Lord Willetts, on behalf of The Entrepreneurs Network and Mishcon de Reya, will be hosting an event at Africa House to discuss the practical barriers to scaling robotics companies.

​This roundtable convenes a select group of the UK’s leading robotics founders. Its aim is to provide the Regulatory Innovation Office (RIO), the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), and Innovate UK with direct industry insights.

​By focusing on the practical barriers to scaling and identifying current regulatory successes, the session offers a platform for founders to share their experiences to inform the government’s approach to robotics regulation.

​This dialogue aims to ensure that the UK’s regulatory framework remains agile and innovation-friendly, helping the RIO to refine its strategic priorities and support the long-term growth of the domestic robotics ecosystem.
