From June 1–8, every AI Collective chapter in the world is hosting events for Humans in AI Week: 200+ cities, 50+ countries, one week, one conversation. The largest coordinated civilian conversation about AI ever organized. We're doing our part right here in Arlington.
This Friday is dedicated to the human layer of AI. So we're trying something different.
Mistakes Hour 🙃
The centerpiece of the day: a session where founders share the things that went wrong. The bug that ate a week. The launch that flopped. The pivot that didn't pivot. What you learned, what you'd do differently, and what you're still figuring out. No polished pitches, just honesty.
Here's what a Friday looks like, pick what works for you:
Doors open at 10 with coffee, music, and a Nintendo Switch. Coworking through the morning with a few icebreaker rounds scattered in. Mistakes Hour mid-day. More coworking and conversations after. We wrap by 3. Everything is optional. ☕️
No pressure to perform. No networking bingo cards. No mandatory classroom sessions. Just coffee, good people, and the kind of honest conversations more events should make room for.
