About Event

The best solutions rarely begin with the right answer. They begin with the right question.

Most people are taught to solve problems. But in complex systems, the hardest part isn’t solving the problem—it’s figuring out what the problem actually is.

That’s where the Sensemaking Sprint begins.

Over the course of a day, you’ll work alongside people from different backgrounds to make sense of a landscape that’s bigger than any one person’s perspective. You’ll collect observations, map stakeholders, surface patterns, and uncover the paradoxes—the persistent tensions and competing truths that keep a system stuck.

Instead of rushing to solutions, you’ll learn to sit with uncertainty long enough for something more valuable to emerge—a community of people who have become deeply curious about the same paradox.

You’ll form a Pod of fellow investigators organized around a shared area of inquiry. Together, you’ll leave with an initial systems map, a set of themes worth exploring, and a field research plan to test your assumptions in the real world.

Over the following weeks, your Pod will interview stakeholders, gather evidence, challenge its own thinking, and gradually develop stronger ways of understanding the paradox you’ve chosen to investigate.

Only then will you begin framing the problem.

Because breakthrough ideas don’t come from jumping to answers. They come from seeing the situation differently.

The Sensemaking Sprint is where that shift begins.
