The Beautiful Adventure is a transformational and luxury retreat designed for women 40+ to find meaning in the second half of life.

No fluffy woo-woo here. We’ve spent the past five years developing The Beautiful Adventure with the world’s best experts on human potential from Harvard University.
During this retreat we will guide you through sessions designed to connect you with your true self — and give you tools and strategies to apply those insights to the world in new, unique, powerful and thrilling ways.
It’s a chance to chart your own course again. To realise your true potential and find meaning in the second half of life.
This life-changing three-night experience is at BlueGreen Sanctuary in the Byron Bay hinterland — one of Australia’s most awe-inspiring private retreat venues.
Places are limited to just nine women. Every woman will have her own private bedroom, and each application is personally reviewed to ensure the right fit for this intimate experience.

Five Acres. One Sanctuary
BlueGreen Sanctuary rests in the rolling Byron Bay hinterland at Newrybar — five acres of paddocks, gardens, walking paths and rainforest edges, just 15 minutes from Byron’s beaches, five minutes from Bangalow and two minutes from Harvest Newrybar.
Designed for deep work and real rest, the sanctuary moves to the rhythm of wind through the trees, birdsong and the hum of the bush.
Follow a shaded path to the yoga shala; reset with the infrared sauna and cold plunge; receive bodywork in a private treatment bungalow above the pond; gather in a 22-foot tipi beside the fire.
We have hired it exclusively. Three homes, three pools, every gathering place and quiet corner — ours for four days.
Your Accommodation
Our accommodation unfolds across three beautifully designed residences — the Villa, the House and the Loft — giving our group the rare luxury of being together while still having space to retreat.
Across the sanctuary are exactly nine bedrooms for nine guests. Every woman will have her own private room — there is no twin-share accommodation.

Master Suites — A$3,900
Four exceptional private suites, each with its own ensuite and distinctive features such as a standalone bath, private balcony, cathedral ceilings, a four-poster king bed, expansive views or beautiful arched windows.
Private Ensuite Rooms — A$3,300
Three beautifully appointed private bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom.
Private Rooms with Shared Bathroom — A$2,995
Two completely private bedrooms sharing one bathroom between them.
All prices are per guest for the full three-night, four-day retreat. Availability within each room category is strictly limited.
Each residence has its own private pool, garden and outdoor living spaces. Generous kitchens, timber decks, fireplaces and shaded lounges invite slow mornings, long conversations and quiet pauses between sessions.

Fly into Ballina Airport (30 minutes) or Gold Coast Airport (45 minutes). Arrive at BlueGreen Sanctuary. And when the experience ends — the holiday doesn’t have to.
Stay on for the rest of the holidays: Cape Byron Lighthouse at sunrise, Wategos Beach, the boutiques of Bangalow, brunch at Three Blue Ducks, and the world-class surf and sunsets that make Byron one of the most loved destinations on earth.

Jennifer Mulveny is based in Sydney and is Adobe’s Director of Government Relations and Public Policy for Asia-Pacific.
Jennifer has previously worked in Washington D.C., including a tenure for the U.S. Congress and The White House.
A qualified yogi, she currently leads regular meditation sessions for women in her community on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
