HR Build Up, followed by a Sunset Party
You know the drill. You show up to an HR event, you sit, you listen. Keynotes. Panels. Slides. At their best, they inspire you to do better. At their worst, they make you sleepy and question why you came.
And here's the irony: a room full of speakers telling you to build with AI, to practice new skills, to transform how you work... while you sit there, taking notes on repackaged advice, building nothing.
The HR Build Up is not that event.
This is five hours of building. You bring the thing you've been meaning to work on. We give you the structure, the tools, the people, and the time.
What it feels like: a few short framing talks (minutes, not keynotes), then you work. Solo writing on a printed worksheet, honest conversations in pairs, hands-on building on your laptop. Expect two curveballs: a light improv warm-up (no talent required, nobody performs alone) and a few minutes of guided stillness to reset between sprints. You'll be up, moving, and talking to people you met an hour ago. You choose your level on everything; spectating is the only thing not on the agenda.
By sunset you will have:
Made 5 new friends
Achieved greater clarity on what matters to you
Practiced 5 new meta skills
Built 2 things that matter to you
How the afternoon runs
Act 1 · Your organization, and you in it. Map your company's change story, find the gaps, and name the mindsets that block change.
Act 2 · How you are trusted. Your goals, the four cores of trust, and your LinkedIn upgraded on the spot: new line, new photo, professional photographer in the room.
Act 3 · What you ship today. Pick a real problem, build a working AI tool around it, break it, rebuild it, and leave with an adoption plan and an accountability partner.
Then we go up. It's in the name. Golden hour, Kuala Lumpur laid out below you, and a room of people who just spent the afternoon actually doing the work.
Logistics:
Dress code? Whatever you'd want in your new LinkedIn photo: a professional photographer is in the room. Comfortable shoes help, you'll be on your feet. Same outfit carries into the Sunset Party.
What to bring? Laptop charged (charger in the bag anyway), logged into Google/Gmail or your favorite AI tools, plus LinkedIn. And one task you're tired of doing manually: that's your raw material for Act 3.
Food? Light bites and coffee through the afternoon, so arrive fed. Food and drinks flow at the Sunset Party.
