The Talking Tower - Open Registration
Our tower is home to many worlds—AI, makerspaces, robotics, health & wellness, startups, and more. Each floor hums with activity, but too often that energy stays siloed behind elevator doors. This gathering brings together the custodians, caretakers, and everyday citizens of the space for an open, collaborative brainstorm on how we can better connect across floors and reduce isolation within the building. We’ll explore questions like: How might people discover what’s happening on other floors—casually and consistently? What shared rituals, tools, or spaces could encourage cross-pollination? What small experiments could we try in the next 30–60 days? This is not a presentation—it's a working session. Come with observations, frustrations, half-formed ideas, and curiosity about what others are building above and below you. Who should attend: Floor leads, stewards, and citizens Program organizers and community managers Residents, members, and regular users of any floor Anyone who cares about the social fabric of the tower Outcome: A shared understanding of current friction points, a shortlist of actionable ideas, and volunteers to carry the most promising experiments forward. We are transforming a 16-floor tower in San Francisco into a self-governed vertical village—a hub for frontier technologies and creative arts.
