About Event

The AI Lab Community Call:
A monthly gathering of CxOs shaping how their companies move on AI.

This is a closed-door conversation among peers, with trust at the heart of it. An honest conversation among the people actually making decisions, comparing notes on what's working, what isn't, and what they're wrestling with this month, in an ever-evolving landscape.

Who's in the room:
CEOs, presidents, and C-suite executives leading AI transformation inside their organizations. Open to The AI Lab Community Members exclusively.

What we're talking about this month:
This month, we're putting attorneys in the room. As AI moves from pilots to production, the governance and legal questions are getting real — and most of them don't have settled answers yet. We're bringing in leading legal minds working at the frontier of AI to talk through the risks, the realities, and the questions no one has answered yet.

The anchor came from a member on last month's call. As his company builds out an organization-wide AI knowledge base, he raised the discoverability question: companies train their people for years on careful communication and email retention, because email captures context poorly and can be used against them. Capturing the knowledge of an entire organization, likely forever, is a completely different level of exposure. How should leaders think about the legal risk of what their AI systems ingest, generate, and retain?

That's one thread. We'll pull on several: discoverability and retention as a design decision, what privilege survives and what doesn't, the double edge of encoding policy into agentic systems at scale, and the open questions where precedent simply hasn't been set yet.

What to expect:
A focused discussion, guided by an AI Lab advisor and joined by practicing attorneys who work in this space, grounded in current research, the latest releases from frontier labs, and in-the-trenches experience. Real questions from members. Candid answers from people who've made the call before. Chatham House rules.

No hype. No jargon. Just practical strategy from leaders who've done it before — and a rare chance to press legal experts on the questions keeping you up at night.

This session is for educational and peer-discussion purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. For guidance on your specific situation, consult your own counsel.
