​AI Beyond the Hype, Fear, and Misconceptions is an interactive discussion organised with Proximus Ada as part of The Future of Tech is Female 2026, designed to make artificial intelligence easier to understand and more accessible to everyone.

​AI is everywhere, from the news and social media to the tools we use at work and in our daily lives. But beyond the headlines, promises and concerns, what is artificial intelligence really, and how does it work?

​Together with Justine Evers, Elena Tiukhova and Eva Vandaele, Data Scientists at Proximus Ada, participants will explore the fundamentals of modern AI, how the technology has evolved and the principles behind the tools we use today.

​Through accessible explanations, practical examples and open discussions, the session will challenge common misconceptions about AI, explore its real capabilities and limitations, and introduce useful AI tools available today.

​The conversation will also address important ethical and security considerations, helping participants better understand how to use and develop AI responsibly.
