Hors Norme – Discussion with Leïla Maidane: Beyond the Gap: Women Shaping the Future of Tech
Beyond the Gap: Women Shaping the Future of Tech is a talk organised by Hors Norme as part of The Future of Tech is Female 2026, exploring the challenges and opportunities women face in an increasingly digital world.
Technology has become an essential part of entrepreneurship, from managing finances and communicating with customers to creating content and growing a business. Yet many women still face barriers to accessing, understanding and confidently using digital tools.
Through an interview with Leïla Maidane, Founder of InterSkillar and Femmes Fières and General Manager of New Wave Tech Maroc, the event will explore her entrepreneurial journey, her vision for women's place in technology and the initiatives helping to reduce the digital gender gap.
Drawing on her experience across different entrepreneurial and tech ecosystems, Leila will share perspectives on the role of public policies, grassroots initiatives and community-driven programmes in making technology more accessible to women.
With time for audience questions, the event aims to encourage an honest and practical conversation, offering participants fresh perspectives, useful ideas and meaningful connections.
