Tsai CITY Art Installations Virtual Info Session

​We invite current Yale students to join us for a virtual information session about our student art installation opportunity at Tsai CITY. This open call invites students to propose original artwork that reflects innovation, imagination, creative problem-solving, identity, systems, and impact.

​During the session, we will share what the opportunity includes, who is eligible to apply, and what selected artists will receive, including an artist stipend, production budget, and installation support from our team. We will also review the submission requirements, including the short proposal, visual examples or sketches, and a simple materials and budget estimate.

​Our goal is to make the process clear, accessible, and welcoming for students across all disciplines, including those exploring public or commissioned work for the first time. Students do not need a polished portfolio or prior exhibition experience to participate.

​Attendees will have the chance to ask questions about the selection process, timeline, feasibility, and support available along the way. We hope this session helps students shape thoughtful, authentic proposals that reflect their voice, perspective, and creative vision.
