​We’ll be gathering at Starlite, 21 floors within the historic Beacon Grand.

​The hotel first opened in 1928, during an era when San Francisco was rapidly reinventing itself. Its Renaissance-inspired interiors were created by San Francisco architects Weeks & Day, with vaulted ceilings, gold leaf, hand-painted murals, marble, and ornate ironwork that remain part of the building today.

​In the 1940s, the hotel’s private rooftop apartments were transformed into the original Starlite Room, beginning decades of rooftop gatherings, nightlife, and San Francisco stories. Today, Starlite carries that history forward from the 21st floor with panoramic city views, cocktails, and an all-vinyl soundtrack.

​For one Friday evening, we’re taking over a piece of San Francisco history and filling it with the people building what comes next.
