Can AI actually build my idea?
We’re excited to welcome Stephanie Battista Hubbard, Head of Innovation at Humanity Innovation Labs and XI Mentor, for a hands-on session about turning ideas into working prototypes with AI.
Vibe Coding 101: Idea → Prototype
Stephanie will kick things off with a fast-paced, 30-minute exploration of vibe coding and what today’s AI development tools can actually do. Through a live build, we’ll explore tools like Lovable, Bolt, Base44, Claude, Codex, and others - and see how the same idea can produce very different results depending on the tool.
Then it’s your turn to build.
For the remaining 90 minutes, we’ll Level Up Your Build. Bring your September prototype - or start something new - and focus on making one important part actually work. Add a database, authentication, an API, AI capability, payments, a user workflow, or get your project deployed to the web.
Come with an idea. Leave with something that works.
Come Prepared to Build
This is a hands-on session, so a little prep will help you make the most of our time together:
Bring your laptop + charger. You’ll be building during the session.
Download the Participant Guide. Have it ready to reference during the meetup.
Create free accounts on at least three vibe coding platforms: Lovable, Bolt, Base44, and/or Claude.
Bring an idea you want to build. It can be a brand-new concept or something you’ve already started.
Save your free usage for the session. We’ve designed these sessions around free plans, many of which have daily usage or token limits that reset each day. Please avoid building or experimenting with your selected vibe coding tools within 24 hours of the meetup so you have as much free usage available as possible when we start.
Wi-Fi will be provided on site. Access information will be available when you arrive.
Show up ready to experiment, build, and see how far you can take your idea in one evening.
