• 6:15 pm - Workshop: From Python to Publication: Create Beautiful, Reproducible Reports with Quarto

  • Workshop description:

Have you ever created a useful Python notebook and wanted to turn it into something easier to read, share, and publish? In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore Quarto, an open-source publishing tool that combines code, written explanations, and visualizations into polished documents.

Participants will build a small data report using Python, Markdown, and Quarto. Along the way, they’ll learn how to render a document into HTML, improve its presentation, and understand how the same workflow can support project documentation, tutorials, portfolios, and reproducible research.

No prior experience with Quarto is required. Basic familiarity with Python is helpful.
