Write to MPs on the WA emissions reduction target workshop (Climate writers 🌱 & The Climate Reality Project)
Concerned about climate change? We'll step you through how to push for systemic action by emailing politicians to ask for ambitious climate action.
The WA government is planning on scrapping its emission reductions target. It will implement other targets it says will guide WA's decarbonisation efforts, but climate analysts argue those targets could be useless without directly addressing emissions. Come along to learn about the pros and cons of having an emissions reduction target, and share your view with MPs to push for the renewable energy transition.
This event is hosted by Climate Writers and The Climate Reality Project for the Global Week of Action (1st to 7th June) to push for a clean energy future.

🌱 About Climate Writers:
Climate Writers is a grassroots community that empowers everyday Australians to become lifelong advocates for the environment and their local community. Starting out as living room gatho’s with friends, we have since grown into a community of 400+ people, who have sent 800+ personalised letters to politicians on climate action, met with dozens of MPs, and contributed to a policy paper presented to the NSW Minister. Through monthly gatho’s across Australia, we aim to elevate the conversation about climate to a massive and sustained scale that is impossible for all politicians to ignore.
We're 100% volunteer-run and politically non-partisan.
