The Africa Investment Bridge (AIB), is an initiative from the Westerwelle Foundation to connect European investors with Africa’s most dynamic startup ecosystems, with the aim of increasing international capital flows into high-potential African ventures.
As part of the programme, we're inviting a carefully curated, invite-only group of investors, founders, and ecosystem leaders to wrap up Africa Tech Summit together.
The session will share key insights from the Africa Investment Bridge Germany–Africa Report, which highlights:
Overview of Germany-Africa startup investment flows
Top risks perceived by international investors (and how to address them)
Partnership & entry models international investors can consider
Rather than a traditional panel or pitch event, this breakfast is designed as a conversation. Participants will explore the findings together and reflect on practical ways to address common barriers, drawing on the experience of international and Kenya-focused investors, startups actively fundraising, and key ecosystem supporters.
The format combines light facilitation, ample time for networking, and a relaxed atmosphere with good food and coffee, creating space for meaningful connections and honest discussion.
