In 2025, climate information integrity entered the official COP30 agenda and was included in the conference’s final document for the first time in history.
Now, the challenge is different. The debate is no longer about whether the transition will happen, but how, when, and who will pay for it. Disinformation has evolved along with it: rather than denying the science, it now seeks to undermine solutions and those leading them.
This year, the II Global Summit on Climate Information Integrity will focus on a just transition — and implementation.
