About Event

AI moved into production faster than the controls to secure it. Jeremy Snyder and Rinaldi Rampen, CISO at Cloud Security Partners, break down the key findings from FireTail's State of AI Security 2026 report, and what security leaders should do next.

About The Report

AI moved into production this year faster than the controls needed to secure it. 90% of enterprise AI usage is untracked, ungoverned, or unsecured by the team responsible for it. Most organizations deployed AI agents this year without an inventory of what they run or a way to see what those agents can reach.

FireTail's State of AI Security 2026 report tracks 302 publicly disclosed AI security incidents over the past twelve months. The pattern is clear, and it is not the one most teams are defending against.

Join us as Jeremy Snyder, Co-Founder and CEO of FireTail, sits down with Rinaldi Rampen, CISO at Cloud Security Partners, for a 45-minute discussion of the key findings and what they mean for security leaders.

What we'll cover:

  • What changed in 2026, and why DLP, SIEM and SOC tooling can't see it

  • The biggest AI security stories of the year, reconstructed

  • Where the 302 incidents actually come from, and the root cause under most of them

  • The first 90 days of AI security work, and why most of it is configuration, not procurement

This is a working session with time for live Q&A. Bring your questions.

Who should attend:

CISOs, deputy CISOs and security leaders governing AI they did not deploy. Security and engineering teams running AI in production. GRC, risk and compliance leads who own AI governance. MSPs and IT partners who want to help clients navigate AI adoption. Any leader who needs to move fast on AI without losing control of it.

Your speakers:

Rinaldi Rampen is Chief Information Security Officer and Partner at Cloud Security Partners, where he helps organizations build and mature modern cloud security programs across data protection, threat detection and response, and compliance. He has spent more than two decades in security, including leading customer security at Salesforce and heading information security teams at Fannie Mae, with earlier roles at CrowdStrike. He brings the practitioner's view of what the report's findings mean day to day, from governing shadow AI to preparing for agentic risk.

Jeremy Snyder is Co-Founder and CEO of FireTail as well as an author of the State of AI Security 2026 report. He spent twenty-eight years in cybersecurity and cloud before founding FireTail, and hosts This Week in AI Security, a weekly podcast tracking the incidents, vulnerabilities and policy shifts shaping AI security.
