Gæmz?
Gæmz is a community and a hangout/social gathering event for people who are interested in art/experimental/alternative game development and playful media.
Gæmz was founded in 2019 by Nomi. Since 2024, the in-person community space expanded and now we have regular meet-ups in Tokyo, London, Taipei, Copenhagen and Berlin.
Ferran organizes Gæmz Meetup in Taipei since 2025, roughly every month.
Let's hang out and talk about what we've been up to. A lot of us would talk about the projects we've worked on but you can also tell us where you've been to, what you found interesting recently, or what you've been playing, etc.
If you have a prototype/finished work that you want to share/playtest/get feedback, bring it!
To keep everyone safe from Covid-19 and other airborne diseases, if you don't feel well, rest at home instead.
Gæmz is dedicated to providing a harassment free social experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, faiths, backgrounds, or artistic/game preferences. As we have limited spaces, please only RSVP if you intend to come. And if you need to cancel, even on the day of the event, please let us know so we can offer your space to someone else.
IGDShare is hosting us again this time. You can also bring your dinner/food and eat there with us, but make sure to clean up after yourself.
So, here's a handy checklist for attending the event:
RSVP (we'll admit max 20 people)
You are feeling fit & healthy (in your standards) body
Recommended: Stuff you'd like to show or a device that allows you to show them (e.g. laptop, tablet, tower pc, paper prototype, altctrl stuff, book, canvas, etc.). We have projector.
If you want to bring dinner/drinks, feel free to bring them, however, please help us keep the space clean.

GÆMZ Meetup #74 will take place at IGDShare's space, near MRT ZhongShan 中山. The schedule will be as follows:
Doors will open at 18:30
The event is in the 6th floor
Event will start at 19:00 sharp
