Surviving the First Six Months of Biotech: A Founder's Notes
Join us for an engaging conversation with Arun Nijhawan, a two-time founder with two successful exits, as he shares practical insights into navigating the early stages of building a biotech company.
Arun is building Litmus Science, a software platform that connects AI-driven research with physical wet-lab validation. Litmus Science is a spin-out of Fulcrum Science, a public-good initiative dedicated to accelerating scientific research. With a background in physics and astrophysics, Arun brings a unique perspective to the intersection of scientific innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
In this session, Arun will share lessons from his entrepreneurial journey, focusing on the challenges, decisions, and realities founders encounter during the critical first six months of building a biotech startup. Drawing on his experience founding and building companies, he will offer perspectives on navigating uncertainty, establishing early priorities, and turning innovative ideas into viable ventures.
This session is designed for students, postdocs, researchers, aspiring founders, and entrepreneurs interested in biotech innovation and company building. Attendees will gain practical insights into the early stages of entrepreneurship and the lessons that can help founders navigate the journey from an initial idea to building a company.
