WELCOME TO SANTULAN STUDIOS: OPEN SHOOT DAY
Join us for a open shoot studio day dedicated to empowering aspiring BIPOC & Queer creatives. We aim to alleviate (even just a little) the financial and accessibility gaps to studio & equipment resources by providing a collaborative creative space that can artists can learn and grown in.
This is a call to all BIPOC & Queer creatives looking to test, execute their passion project, or just simply experiment. From photographers, to gaffers, to hair stylists, to makeup artists, to stylists, to models - we truly want everyone to come & immerse themselves in the space.
NOTE: MUST BRING YOUR OWN SUBJECTS TO SHOOT & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO BRING OWN CREW (SELF-STYLING ALSO ENCOURAGED TO ELIMINATE NEED FOR CREW)

Industry professionals will be on-sight to share tips on using photo equipment, lighting setups, highlighting makeup details, and more. Leave inspired, equipped with new skills, portfolio-ready work, and meaningful connections to fuel your next creative project.
WHAT IS THE FORMAT?
RSVP and we will schedule you into a time slot sent over the week prior. Please inform us in advance if you cannot make it so we can allocate the time slot to those on the waitlist.

PARKING:
Free street parking on Clarence street (please be mindful of street signs).
CHECK-IN:
We will sign you up with a designated time slot to shoot upon arrival. The entrance to the studio is through a parking lot on Clarence street. No parking in the lot. In case the parking lot gate is closed, please enter through the main building door on 4th street.
