Contribution: General 300 Baht; CMMU Students and Faculty - Free
This seminar is one session within the broader program of LOKAL Re:Generative, an eight-day journey through people, place, and purpose. Click HERE for the full program.
We are pleased to announce that our next Sustainability Meet & Chill (SMAC) event will take place in the morning (10.00 - 13.00) on Monday 29 September where we will get to explore “What is Regeneration?” followed by a networking lunch. This event will be taking place during Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW).
SMAC is partnering with LOKAL Re:Generative and the College of Management at Mahidol University (CMMU) in organizing an interactive seminar that will investigate the evolving transition from sustainability to regeneration - a deeper paradigm focused on proactively restoring vitality to people, communities, and ecosystems.
Together, we will explore the concept of regeneration and the regenerative mind as catalysts for systems transformation, bridging theory to practice in community tourism and development. Speakers will include Associate Professor Dr. Suparak Suriyankietkaew, Rosalind Yunibandhu, Dr. Sukanda Thinthan, and Dr. Krittawit Krittayaruangroj with moderation by Piya Kerdlap. This morning offers participants the space to question, reflect, connect, and activate a new perspective that focuses on restoration, renewal, and regeneration in our daily lives.
This seminar will include a mid-session break and lunch by ครัวตั้งต้นดี (Khrua Tung Ton Dee), a Thailand Institute of Justice social enterprise that supports ex-prisoners in Thailand in starting new lives.
