About Event

Which decisions in your work, your field, your career will you actually keep for yourself, now that AI can take so many of them? The question is not academic. It is one you will answer every week, often without noticing you are answering it.

Three speakers from very different disciplines come together to help you ask it more sharply:

Chuck Garcia (Columbia Engineering) brings years of work on emotional intelligence and Stoic practice, and what both have to say about leadership under AI-era pressure.

Pascal Wiscour-Conter (Luxembourg School of Business) brings strategic communication and the question of purpose: what you say, why you say it, and whether anyone can tell the difference between your voice and a machine’s anymore.

Dr. Jacqueline Kucera (Research Fellow, IDHEAP, University of Lausanne) focuses on judgement: why accountability and responsibility cannot be outsourced, and why discernment is the leadership skill of this decade.

For students and researchers, this is the question your thesis will circle, your first job will test, and your first team will ask you to answer out loud. Whether you work in management, communication, engineering, policy or research, the territory you keep for yourself as a professional is being redrawn right now. Being in this conversation early is worth more than reading about it later.

Bring a question from your own work, a disagreement, or a judgement you refused to delegate. Your perspective is part of the programme.
