About Startup Haven
Startup Haven was founded in 2006 by Bob Crimmins, a 4x-founder turned investor. Startup Haven Ventures is a pre-seed venture capital fund. In addition to direct investments, the Fund also invests through the Startup Haven accelerator program. The sole mission of Startup Haven is to help build relationships between founders and investors. There are currently 2,300 founder and investor members. Membership is free but there are additional, fully optional programs available for a modest cost.
Where
Meet us at Dylan Böle, just a few steps away from the Slush main area. You'll enjoy a pleasant breakfast, that includes introduction rounds, our famous "Ask and Offer" networking event and walk away with at least one useful connection per person. Ideal for those who'd like to start the pre-Slush day early.
Good to know
This event is by invitation only. Please do not bring uninvited guests. If you want to bring a co-founder or another founder, please contact us first so we can be sure to have enough seating.
This is not a pitch event. If you are fundraising and there are investors in attendance, do not attempt to pitch them at the event. The purpose of this event is to build relationships and to solve problems. Any investor who gets to know you personally will learn about your startup and will seek to learn more if they have an interest.
This event is participatory. Everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and share a few words about what their startup does. Everyone is also encouraged to make an ask or an offer (or both).
