We're very excited to welcome Margarida Garcia, COO of Poolside, to the event. We'll have a fireside chat with her to talk about her career, Poolside's mission, the current state of AI and many other topics.
Margarida is a founding team member and COO at Poolside and Co-Founder at Poolside Infrastructure Company, where she also serves on the board of directors. She is responsible for scaling operations, finance and financing, legal and partnerships across both organizations. Margarida brings close to 15 years of experience strengthening operations and finance functions at high-growth technology companies—before Poolside, she spent two years as a venture capitalist at Beacon Capital, where she focused on early-stage deep tech investments and was critical to raising their first fund. Prior to that, she served as COO at Lifebit, an AI genomics platform, where she played a central role in scaling the company from Day 0 to a $60 million Series B. Earlier in her career, Margarida held the role of VP of Developer Relations at source{d}, applying AI to code and software. Next to her day jobs, Margarida helped raise over $100 million in capital for founders she mentored.
